Safe, Fun, and Goal-Oriented

Your Child Can Become The Dressage Rider Of Their Dreams.

Your child is dreaming of horses and wants to ride dressage.

Sounds simple, right?

We know you want a professional lesson program that offers qualified training on safe, sensible horses where your child can have fun, but excel at riding too.Doesn’t sound that simple, and yet at Lindinhof Equine Sport Zentrum, we understand your child’s desire to ride.

Growing up, we were “that” kid and we’ve developed this program for you !

At Lindinhof, We Offer A Program Unlike Any Other.

You’ll experience …

Exceptional Schoolmasters

Horses that are safe and knowledgeable with a willingness to teach. Your child can learn to ride on a horse that already knows and loves his job. And with a string of horses from beginner to advanced, your child has lots of opportunities to ride different horses and new ones when their skills progress.

All riders start on the lunge line. The time spent on the lunge is so important. Children develop their confidence in horses as well as in themselves and their own balance.

Qualified Instructors

Patient, well-educated teachers who expertly build rapport with your child and allow them to progress at your own rate.

Program

Dressage has a natural progression of levels based on difficulty and our program does too. We can start at the foundational basics through the more advanced upper levels. All students start on the lunge line, which helps develop balance and a secure seat.

Learn To Be A Skillful Rider The Lindinhof Way …

FB_IMG_1669764594492 (1) 2.jpg
More Confidence

Knowledge that your child is learning correctly and can translate what they’ve learned to other horses. Riding will give your child, not only a sense of responsibility or the horse’s care, but will also develop confidence and independence through the ability to ride.

Goal Oriented

Satisfaction in riding well and the opportunity to do so much more. This can be the starting point to leasing one of the school horses or buying your own.

We’ll develop a plan with you so that you know where your child is going and meet with you to adjust it as necessary. Want to develop a connection with a horse, but not all the bills. Leasing is a fantastic option for you!

Success

Master the skills to be successful in whatever way that looks to you so that your child can enjoy dressage for a lifetime.

Fun

Enjoy communicating with our horses during your ride and the bond you will share. It is important for your child to have an instructor, who will laugh and make the session fun!  They will learn new things, but also have the opportunity to just brush and enjoy our school horses.

You Want Your Child To Learn To Ride The Right Way On Nice, Safe Horses, But You Feel Like …

Your child just doesn’t make any progress. Riding the same horse every week and no one ever talks about the future.

You’re spending most of the lesson holding your breath. You don’t trust the lesson horses, they don’t seem safe, and you don’t want your child to get hurt!

Why is it so hard to find a dressage lesson program that is run like a business, the instructors don’t yell, and a variety of nice, safe lesson horses are available to ride?

Your Child Will Love Your Barn Time And Reach Your Full Potential Too.

Enjoy learning! More horses at different levels enable your child to make more

Understand that your schoolmaster knows and loves his job teaching your child.

Know that your child can continue to grow in the program with different horses, and if they develop a strong bond to one special horse, you can lease him.

Feel assured that the school horses are healthy, well-cared for, and a safe, willing partner for your child no matter what level they’re are riding at.

Know that our instructors are professionals. You can expect open communication and respect. We will discuss your child’s goals with you and create a custom plan that can be adjusted accordingly.

While every rider is on their own journey, your child is part of a community that supports each other’s goals and has fun together.

We Can Guide You And Your Child On This Journey.

I’m Megan McIsaac, a certified USDF instructor and FEI competitor, and I’m joined by a team of well-qualified instructors to help your child achieve their dreams of riding dressage.

Kids love the way our children’s instructor explains how to ride and her ability to teach the basics on up. She pairs each child with the perfect mount that is safe, yet challenging, to help your child progress.

We offer children’s lessons for ages 6+ and a Horsemanship Camp for Children starting in March and running through December. They get to learn how to do chores! Tack up and groom as well as parts of the horse and tack! The last day is riding and a scavenger hunt! This is a great way to introduce your child to horses without a large investment before they decide if horses are their sport!

At Lindinhof, we have more than 8 safe, schoolmasters and if your child is drawn to one of our special horses, leases are also available.

Here’s How It Works

What You Can Expect From The Lesson Program

Step 1

Start on the lunge line to learn balance and relaxation. (All students start here and it is perfectly normal to stay on the lunge for a year!)

Step 2

Progress to figures and steering off the lunge line.

Step 3

As your child progresses, they will be paired with appropriate horses to build confidence.

Step 4

Continue progressing to more difficult movements and levels.

Step 5

Enjoy your child’s skills and confidence!

Get Started!

Lessons are given in our Olympic-sized indoor arena with its wonderful footing and mirrors, and is temperature controlled. Each session is approximately one hour, and we ask that students come 30-45 minutes early, so that they can groom and tack up their lesson horse. Well-trained lesson horses are available for those without a horse, and for those who wish to expand their riding knowledge by riding different horses.

Beginner’s Equestrian Camp

One of our favorite things to do at Lindinhof is introduce kids to horses 🐴

Day 1: Feeding horses and barn chores!

Day 2: Learning about the parts of the horse, parts of the tack,

how to groom, how to saddle a horse, and how to clean the tack when we are finished!

Day 3: The last day of camp is about tacking up, riding, and a scavenger hunt through the barn with Mumsie!

Leasing- Want to ride a horse, but maybe not own it and have all the responsibility? Have you thought about leasing a horse? We have several school horses from 3rd-Intermediate available for lease. No hassling with the vet, farrier or other bills. The lease includes lessons and enjoyment of your equine partner without the hassle!

“Kudos to Lindinhof! Having my horse in training with Megan has been a great experience. After an 18-year hiatus from horses I chose Lindinhof to help me get back to riding.
